Land of Light Frequently Asked Questions
Why did you create this Center and the Land of Light?
We built our new Wellness/Spiritual Center on 40 beautiful acres to provide an environment that allows one to be in the present moment and to heal at all levels. The Land of Light is a place where you can feel free, accepted and reconnect with your deeper self.
What is so special about the Center?
We built this center specifically for wellness. To start with we have large crystals (such as rose quartz, red granite, green aventurine, magnetite) in the foundation. We buried positive affirmations and healing symbols beneath the foundation of the Center. We have carefully created a crystal octahedron (which represents the sacred geometry of the heart) connecting both floors. All of this combined is to connect you with a feeling of wholeness and unity, so when you walk in you experience that great energy!
When someone first sees the Center they ask why 5 colors on the outside of the building?
The lower floor has four of the Energy Centers: red, gold, purple and blue. The top is a shimmering silver white. The entrance is blue, gold and silver which represents the colors sometimes seen when accessing our inner vision in meditation.
Within the Center there are many special aspects such as 2 floors of radiant heat for comfort, comfortable light (no fluorescent lights), soundproofing for quiet treatment rooms, empowering statements on the walls, intentional healing, heart-opening and connection spaces. A solarium with happy lights and tropical plants on the second floor for when the Michigan weather is not cooperating. Steam humidifiers for those winter dry days. Air purifiers for super clean air. All of these details were specifically laid out knowing this would be a wellness center.
Why the 40 acres?
Because we know that nature in itself can help us heal on all levels. So whether it is taking a walk outside in one of our two large labyrinths, or to walk through our two sets of groomed trails, we wanted to have space for people to sit or walk in nature, to meditate or to just be in the present moment.
We have really tried to build this with Mother Earth (Gaia) in mind. Our building materials are eco-friendly. Our builder, Adam Bearup is an internationally recognized sustainable builder and designer who has built many notable green projects over the past two decades. We went to great lengths to put in a large solar array to provide our electricity. We planted 30 evergreen trees around the center. We avoid scents of any kind, and use environmentally-friendly, chemical free cleaning materials. Our entrance has 50 pounds of magnetite and 50 pounds of purple, green and black Aventurine to give you extra healing energy as you enter our healing space.
What is so special about your services?
All of our services provide a way to calm the brain and open the heart so that you can empower yourself. Whether you are on a physical, emotional, mental or spiritual journey our tools and techniques can help.
Isn’t that what we all want in life? To be self-empowered, to be happy and healthy, to create the future that we have always wanted. Most of us never learned how to be self-empowered, and have had to rely on external ways. Because of this, we provide coaching to help you learn simple and effective self-regulation and self-empowerment tools.
Since we know most people have had years of stress, we also offer some remarkable non-invasive technologies that reset and rebalance your body’s own amazing system and its’ own internal pharmacy.
What about those cool paintings?
We have 2 sets of paintings within our Center by two very special artists: James Jereb, of Stardreaming, Santa Fe, New Mexico and Robert Selkirk from England who currently resides in Israel. James life-size paintings remind us of the origin of our Divine world of no boundaries and no limitations. For this journey of exploration we need nothing more than our hearts and minds to be open to all possibilities. Roberts paintings, which are in the “Heart Opening Space” are based on the heart, its’ DNA and the sacred geometry of the heart. They reflect the energy of our hearts and its association with wholeness.
